Been waiting for this new album for a long time and it’s really interesting to see what Joji delivered! The theme of trying and failing to move on is a natural progression from the more angsty, jealous themes on previous releases, and it’s so perfectly captured in songs like this one and “Glimpse of Us.” Couldn’t get this melody out of my head and it turned out to be really well suited to the cello (and in my favourite key signature too)!
